Kacey Musgraves and Luke Combs both took home two awards each at the Country Music Awards on Wednesday night (13.11.19), including the respective Female and Male Vocalist of the Year prizes.

Country music singer and songwriter K.T. Oslin has died. She was 78. CNN reports Oslin had one of the most soulful voices in country music and came to fame with her anthem '80's Ladies.' She also won multiple Grammy and ACM Awards during her career. Oslin was inducted into the Texas Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2014 and the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2018. Travis Tritt recalled touring with Oslin at the beginning of her career, and remembered her as a 'brilliant songwriter and one helluva lady.'
Justin Bieber has received a series of nominations at the Academy of Country Music Awards for his country pop collaboration '10,000 Hours; with Dan + Shay.
Taylor Swift took a swipe at her old record label Big Machine while accepting the Favorite Album - Pop/Rock accolade at the American Music Awards (AMAs) on Sunday (24.11.19).
