The new Porsche 911 Turbo Cabriolet Design in Night Blue

Description

The Porsche 911 Turbo has been the quintessential high-performance sports car with everyday usability for the past 45 years. Following the market launch of the 911 Turbo S, the next generation 911 Turbo Coupé and Cabriolet are now being introduced – even more powerful, even faster and even more individual. Thanks to their 427 kW (580 PS) engines, 30 kW (40 PS) more than their predecessors, both model variants dip under the magic three second 0-100 km/h mark with a time of 2.8 seconds (0.2 seconds faster). 750 newton metres of torque (up 40 Nm), now without an overboost time limit, make quick sprints even more spontaneous and effortless. Acceleration, power output and torque of the new 911 Turbo therefore all match those of the previous generation 911 Turbo S. Power transmission is performed by an eight-speed PDK gearbox with a Turbo-specific set-up while its top speed remains unchanged at 320 km/h. Options such as the Sports and Lightweight Design packages, sports chassis and sports exhaust system are available for the 911 Turbo for the first time. As a result, customers will be able to adapt their vehicle even more to their individual tastes.

Porsche is presenting a further performance-oriented plug-in hybrid model with the new Panamera 4S E-Hybrid. The intelligent combination of the 100 kW (136 PS) electric motor integrated into the eight-speed dual-clutch PDK transmission and the 2.9-litre V6 biturbo engine with 324 kW (440 PS) generates a system output of 412 kW and a maximum system torque of 750 Nm.The performance figures are therefore very impressive: combined with the standard Sport Chrono Package, the sprint from 0 – 100 km/h is covered in 3.7 seconds. The top speed is 298 km/h. The gross battery capacity has been increased from 14.1 to 17.9 kWh compared with the previous hybrid models using optimised cells and the driving modes have been optimised for even more efficient energy utilisation. The 4S E-Hybrid has an all-electric range of up to 54 km in accordance with WLTP EAER City (NEDC: up to 64 km).

  • The new Porsche 911 Turbo S Cabriolet Design in Guards Red

Porsche presented the new-generation 911 Turbo S for unprecedented power, driving dynamics and comfort. The new range-topping 911 is being launched as a Coupé and Cabriolet, both powered by a new 3.8-litre boxer engine with two VTG turbochargers, which delivers 478 kW (650 PS), 51 kW (70 PS) more than its predecessor. Maximum torque is now 800 newton metres (an increase of 50 Nm). The Turbo-specific eight-speed Porsche Doppelkupplung (PDK) cuts the sprint from zero to 100 km/h to 2.7 seconds (0.2 seconds faster), while top speed is unchanged at 330 km/h.The dimensions of the Porsche 911 Turbo S have been increased significantly in line with the enhanced driving dynamics: the body is now 45 millimetres wider above the front axle (1,840 mm), and the overall width is 1,900 mm above the rear axle (an increase of 20 mm). Modified track widths, further developed aerodynamics and the new mixed-size tyres contribute to its agility and sportiness: the track is now 42 mm wider at the front axle and 10 mm wider at the rear axle. The adaptive aerodynamics now include controlled cooling air flaps at the front, while the larger rear wing has been designed for even more downforce. For the first time, the Porsche 911 Turbo S transfers its power to the road with mixed tyres in two different sizes: it has 20-inch tyres with their unique 255/35 dimensions at the front and 21-inch 315/30 tyres at the rear. New equipment options underline the much sportier image of the all-wheel drive 911. These include the Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) sports chassis that has been lowered by 10 mm and the sports exhaust system with adjustable flaps that guarantees a distinctive sound.

  • Porsche 911 Carrera S Cabriolet Design in Miami Blue

The new Porsche 911 Carrera Cabriolet offers unfiltered driving pleasure. The fresh-air version of the eighth 911 generation is now being launched just four months after the world premiere of the Coupé. The Cabriolet is a model with particular importance for the sports car manufacturer: this is because the first Porsche sports car, the 356 "No. 1" Roadster from 1948, was an open-top car. Its convertible top was made of simple canvas. Full-featured Cabriolet versions have also enhanced the 911 family since 1982 - and have been equipped with electrically operated high-tech roofs since 1987.The new Porsche 911 Carrera S Cabriolet is equipped with the most technically advanced roof design that Porsche has to offer. The electrohydraulic system is now even lighter and closes the fabric hood in just twelve seconds, and can even do this while driving up to speeds of 50 km/h. The integrated wind deflector also extends electrically in two seconds and calms the air movement in the interior. The new Cabriolet offers pure pleasure even when the top is closed: the squat roofline mirrors the unmistakable silhouette of the Coupé. At the same time, special magnesium panel bows prevent the soft top from ballooning when driving at high speed and also offer optimum protection for the vehicle occupants. The heated glass rear window improves all-round visibility, while the automatic roll-over protection system increases safety. An additional layer made of heat- and noise-insulating material ensures comfort in all weather.
