Los Angeles, Nov 25 (EFE/EPA).- The non-profit and faith-based organization Los Angeles Mission celebrated Thanksgiving Wednesday by distributing meals and basic necessities to the homeless in lieu of its annual outdoor dining event. The number of homeless people in the United States has increased tremendously as the phenomenon seemed to be aggravated by the pandemic.     16 states across the US broke a grim record on Friday, reporting their highest total of people hospitalized for COVID-19 since the pandemic began.
