Argentina's inflation reaches 36.1% in 2020, second highest in Latin America

Buenos Aires, Jan 14 (EFE).- Argentina recorded cumulative inflation of 36.1 percent in 2020, which, compared to 53.8 percent in 2019, was greatly tempered by the freezing of utility rates and the drop in consumption during the pandemic.The country remains in the second place in Latin America with the highest inflation, only surpassed by Venezuela.
