Indigenous nurse becomes first person vaccinated against Covid in Amazonas

The indigenous nurse Vanda Ortega was the first person vaccinated against Covid-19 in the state of Amazonas. During the pandemic, the health professional spent her spare time caring for her indigenous community of 700 families against the outbreak of the disease in Manaus.
