North Carolina woman sings prayers of encouragement for Trump

Description

Deborah Killman says she sings Christian songs toward former US President Donald Trump's Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida every day from a nearby beach. "I came from afar because I kept having the burden to give words of encouragement to President Mr. Donald J. Trump, our brother in Christ," says Killman, who describes herself as a missionary of encouragement.

    Pennsylvania's Secretary of State says the counting of its remaining mail-in ballots could be completed on Thursday. Business Insider reports Joe Biden has been cutting into President Donald Trump's lead in the state as mail ballots have been counted. In 2016, Trump carried the state by less than 1 point. That razor-thin margin made it a top priority for Democrats to win back in 2020. If Biden wins Pennsylvania, he'll secure the electoral college majority necessary to win the presidency. So far, Insider and Decision Desk HQ projections say Biden has secured 253 electoral college votes. Trump has so far won Florida, Iowa, Ohio, and Texas. Races in Arizona, Nevada, and North Carolina remain too close to call, although Fox News and the Associated Press have called Arizona for Biden.

    CNN projects that South Carolina Republican Sen. Lindsey Graham has held on to his Senate seat. Graham will return to the Senate for a fourth term after defeating Democratic challenger Jaime Harrison. South Carolina is a conservative state that hasn't elected a Democrat to the Senate since 1998. CNN has also projected that President Donald Trump will win the state's 9 electoral votes. Graham serves as chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee. Graham pushed through Supreme Court Justice Amy Coney Barrett's confirmation just days before the election. Graham had said previously that he would not appoint a Supreme Court judge during an election year.

US President Donald Trump Now, Business Insider reports it seems a former Republican lawmaker in North Carolina took Trump's exhortations a bit too much to heart. Former Wake County commissioner Gary Pendleton was charged with a misdemeanor for allegedly assaulting a poll worker on Friday. Pendleton said he was 'observing' at the polling location in Wake Forest at the direction of the county Republican Party. He tried to enter the polling place thirty minutes before it officially opened. After security refused him entry, he tried to get around the worker. When the worker blocked him, Pendleton pushed the worker back. He was cited a Class 3 misdemeanor.
