Flooded French village becomes an island

Description

To get to or from Courcoury in the Charente-Maritime department of France it's pretty simple - if you have a boat, or a tractor. Due to heavy rains and consequent flooding, the village of 700 inhabitants is transformed into an island, forcing local officials to organise "shuttles" to help them get in and out.
