Johannesburg modelling agency teaches young people how to walk

Johannesburg, Mar 13 (EFE / EPA) .- (Camera: Kim Ludbrook) Johannesburg's African Beuaty Projects agency teaches young aspiring models to walk in training sessions held every month.The agency created in 2018 aims to empower young women by enhancing their self-confidence and educating them on issues such as human rights, the environment or gender violence.Since its inception, approximately 350 youth have gone through the program.FOOTAGE OF THE AGENCY IN JOHANNESBURGSOUNDBITES OF INNOCENT MASHUDU BALE, FOUNDER OF THE PROJECTTRANSLATION "What we basically do is empower the youth around us through modeling, acting and dancing. We facilitate these activities and teach them how to do them.""How do we empower them? We realized that one of the common things, or common problems, that many girls had was a lack of self-esteem, so what we do is help them gain confidence and teach them lessons of life".
