New Delhi, Dec 8 (EFE), (Camera: Harish Tyagi/Rajat Gupta).- At least 42 people were killed and 64 injured on Sunday after a fire broke out at a factory in the Indian capital New Delhi, trapping dozens of workers sleeping inside."Until now, we have counted 42 dead and 64 people injured. Some (are) very serious. But there could be more," Delhi Fires Service spokesperson Atul Garg told EFE.The fire broke out around 5.20 am at a factory in the Anaj Mandi area of western Delhi.The factory ran a bag manufacturing unit in a heavily congested area, and police are suspecting that its owners may have flouted safety norms even as the cause that sparked the blaze was not known as yet.FOOTAGE OF THE PLACE WHERE THE FIRE TOOK PLACE, HOSPITAL AND FUNERAL HOME WERE VICTIMS AND DEAD WERE TAKEN TO.
