US inflation rises at fastest pace since 2008

Inflation in the US soared at its fastest pace in over a decade, with consumer prices 4.2% higher than in April 2020. The data spooked investors around the world, contributing to a global market selloff. Christian Lawrence, Senior Markets Strategist at Rabobank New York, says the risk of higher interest rates is hanging over trade.
