79-year old Sister Bernadette Moriau, a French nun, claims to have experienced a medical miracle after a pilgrimage. Sister Bernadette suffered from partial paralysis of her leg for decades, but claimed to be completely healed after a visit to the Catholic shrine to Our Lady of Lourdes in 2008. Despite four operations, Sister Bernadette had suffered from chronic sciatica since the late 1960s and was unable to walk without medical equipment until the miracle happened Sister Bernadette's miracle hasn't been adequately explained by any medical professionals, and the Catholic church has officially recognized the incident as the 70th miracle to occur at the shrine.
