Peru goes to the polls amid deadly surge in Covid-19 pandemic

Peruvians went to the polls on Sunday in fractured elections, with 18 candidates taking part in the race. Although the country has been very hard hit by the Covid-19 pandemic, the election was not postponed and many citizens are afraid to go out to vote. FRANCE 24's Thomas Nicolon reports from Lima, Peru.
