With its completely newly developed, precise and minimalist design, the BMW iX is the first representative of a trailblazing generation of cars poised to redefine the driving experience, the feeling of space inside and the relationship between vehicles and those on board.The BMW iX harnesses the latest innovations in the fields of electrification, automated driving and connectivity to deliver a mobility experience which puts people more than ever at its heart. To this end, its design has been developed from the inside out. The BMW iX has been created to provide quality of life and wellbeing for drivers and passengers. The clear and minimalist design of its exterior showcases a new form of mobility geared squarely to the needs of the vehicle’s occupants. Its interior offers those on board innovative options for using the time during a journey – and enjoying relaxation, safety, security, and a new form of luxury in the process.
Including the exclusive soundscapes for the optional Theatre Mode, the complete sound spectrum of BMW IconicSounds Electric can be experienced for the first time in the new BMW i7. The sounds, which are unique in the automotive sector, have been developed in a collaboration between the BMW Group and two-time Academy Award winning composer Hans Zimmer. They reinforce the authentic agreement of the vehicle’s character with BMW design and the resulting driving experience in the world’s first all-electric luxury saloon.
The powerful proportions of a modern SAV, a reduced surface design and precisely designed details characterize the clear exterior design, which gives the BMW iX M60 its characterful presence. The brake callipers of the sports brake system painted blue and featuring an M logo, the BMW Individual Exterior Line titanium bronze and M logos in the new high-gloss black/titanium bronze version on the front side walls and on the rear of the vehicle provide clear indications of the performance character of the BMW iX M60. Optionally, 22-inch M aerodynamic wheels with an exclusive design in titanium bronze are available.
