Navalny tests negative for Covid-19, though concerns mount over health

A lawyer for Alexei Navalny has said the prominent Russian opposition figure has tested negative for Covid-19. #Navalny, detained in prison since February, announced a hunger strike last week in protest at what he said was the refusal of prison authorities to treat him properly for acute back and leg pain. Felix light, journalist with the Moscow Times, says Navalny has a number of health concerns, some of which are related to his suspected #Novichok poisoning.
