The world’s oceans are critical for humanity. More than 3 billion people depend on the ocean for their livelihoods, while oceans absorb 30% of the carbon dioxide we produce. However, climate change and pollution are having a damaging impact, including ocean acidification and marine plastic. We must protect our marine environment.

An abandoned two-storey wooden building turned into a magical frost kingdom after water pipes burst and met the heavy Siberian frost in Ekaterinburg on Tuesday. Furniture was covered with a thick layer of frost, the interior was transformed from the icy chill and ice crystals hung from the ceiling creating a frozen spectacle.
