Former anti-governmnt protest leaders await verdict from Thai court

Bangkok, Feb 24 (EFE/EPA).- The Thai Criminal Court will give its verdict Wednesday to the thirty-nine former anti-government protest leaders of the People's Democratic Reform Committee charged with insurrection, illegal assembly and obstructing elections.The charges go back to street demonstrations against the government of former Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra held from 2013 to 2014.
