Can a vehicle really not only be able to fit comfortably into everyday traffic, but also accelerate from 0 to 100 km / h in 4.2 seconds and effortlessly overcome a gradient of 70 percent? Racing drivers Jordi Gené and Christoph Vierling, Head of Overall Vehicle Development at the SEAT S.A. Technical Center, want to find out exactly that today: They are putting the brand's most powerful model, the CUPRA Formentor VZ5, to the test. On the Motorland Aragón race track in Spain, they test the versatility of the five driving modes of this limited-edition model, which guarantee maximum driving pleasure on any terrain.
An array of sensors integrated on the vehicle make the CUPRA Formentor e-HYBRID one of the easiest and safest to live with in daily life. Highlights include Travel assist, Side and Exit assist, Emergency assist, Predictive ACC and exit warning. The technology mix delivers high levels of safety, but systems are integrated to bring convenience without the feeling of control being taken away from the driver. An important consideration in a CUPRA, a brand where the driver’s needs are a central priority. The result is a vehicle that can meet the dynamic needs of the CUPRA brand, while providing the safety standards demanded by the market.
The CUPRA Formentor is about to take to the streets of the world. But some have already had the privilege of driving it including the CUPRA development team led by SEAT executive Vice-president for R&D Dr. Werner Tietz, along with CUPRA Technical Officer Marta Almuni and CUPRA driver Jordi Gené. The following are their impressions at the wheel of the brand’s first uniquely designed and developed model.

If the exterior of the CUPRA Tavascan is a clear statement of where the brand is heading, its interior continues the same design language. The key to its revolutionary interior is based on the new hierarchy of elements divided into three levels.
