New York, Feb 23 (EFE/EPA).- Family members, friends and fans on Tuesday bid farewell to late salsa icon Johnny Pacheco, known as the 'godfather of salsa'. Johnny Pacheco, a Dominican-born musician who cofounded influential label Fania Records that turned salsa music into a worldwide sensation, died on february 15 in Teaneck, New Jersey.
