Quezon City, Apr 21 (EFE/EPA).- Farmers in Philippines prepared Wednesday to welcome the Earth Day as urban farming has been gaining ground in the country amid pandemic.Farming projects have provided people in highly urbanized cities of the Philippines an alternative means of livelihood as many vacant lands are being converted into environment-friendly agricultural cooperatives.
