Kolkata /Ahmedabad , May 7 (EFE/EPA).- India recorded Friday more than 400,000 COVID-19 daily cases for the second consecutive day with almost 4,000 deaths, while experts warned that the third wave of infection is underway..The opposition also reiterated Friday that a new national confinement such as the one imposed in March of last year is "inevitable", and called on the Government to promote the vaccination program and further study of the country's virus variants.
