Spanish city of Toledo hopes to get tourists back

Description

Toledo (Spain), May 9 (EFE).- (Camera: Ismael Herrero) The end of the state of alarm has not meant a return to the usual tourist activity in Toledo, where many hospitality establishments have not yet reopened, although there is confidence in a gradual increase of visitors and even a "flood" next weekend, coinciding with the San Isidro festivities in neighbouring Madrid.FOOTAGE OF TOLEDO.

FOOTAGE OF RICARDO CASTELLANOS TRAINING.SOUNDBITES OF CASTELLANOS:"In theory, the company wants to get back to work on the 15th of June, so we are aiming for this date, but we don't know if it will be possible. As many know, this might be extended, we get updates every day, so we can never know when we'll start. But that's the plan, starting on the 15th of June, so I'd have to go 15 days earlier to be confined there in my house for 15 days and then get back to work. But we know that due to this Covid-19 issue, we won't be able to fill a stage."
