Colonial Pipeline aims to restore service by end of week

Description

The operators of a major oil pipeline which has been paralyzed by a ransomware attack say they hope to have fuel flowing again by the end of the week. The FBI says the Colonial Pipeline was targeted by a criminal group known as Darkside. Tom Kloza, of Oil Price Information Service, says the weeklong disruption is unlikely to affect overall supplies, but that the attack could serve as a wakeup call for infrastructure networks.
