Bolivia registers the first free union of a homosexual couple

Description

La Paz, Dec 11 (EFE), (CAMERA: César González) .- The long struggle of a Bolivian couple of the same sex to get their union legally recognized has borne fruit with the approval of the Civic Registry.STATEMENTS FROM THE BOLIVIANS DAVID ARUQUIPA AND GUIDO MONTAÑO."We are fighting for the human rights of the entire population because no one can be left behind. I thank everyone, all the displays of affection they have given us, and the people who have shown us rejection because I believe that they will change over time. This action shows that our country is transforming. Our educational policies have to change, they have to stop people from hating, being racist, murdering girls, women, the LGBT community and these steps help create a better society for all."
