With surge of coronavirus cases, Gaza braces for complete shutdown

Gaza, Dec 10 (EFE/EPA).- A complete coronavirus shutdown came into force on Friday in the Gaza Strip due to a large number of coronavirus cases.The Ministry of Interior in Gaza City announced new measures on 5 December 2020, as the number of new infections with the coronavirus increasesThe surge in coronavirus cases led to the closure of schools, universities, mosques, and government ministries until further notice. Work is allowed from six in the morning until six in the evening only. Complete shutdown is enforced on Friday and Saturday of every week. (Camera: MOHAMMED SABER).   • Thailand tightens lockdown measures as Covid-19 cases surge

    Bangkok, Jul 20 (EFE/EPA).- Thailand has tightened lockdown measures for 13 high-risk provinces, including Bangkok, in order to curb a surge in COVID-19 cases that spiked in recent weeks.
