SkyStar Wheel in Golden Gate Park reopens after COVID-19 temporary closure


San Francisco, Mar 5 (EFE/EPA).- The 150-foot high Skystar Ferris wheel at San Francisco's Golden Gate Park started spinning again on Friday welcoming riders back aboard its 36 gondolas. The ferris wheel by SkyView Partners arrived last winter on a one-year contract to help Golden Gate Park celebrate its 150th anniversary, but was quickly closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and was only able to operate for 39 days last fall.
