Ivory Coast bombing case: Trial in absentia of three pilots for 2004 Bouake killing

A #trial is due to get underway in #Paris on Monday, in an attempt to lift the veil on a dark period between France and its former colony, the Ivory Coast. In 2004, nine French soldiers were killed in the bombing of their camp in #Bouake -- a #bombing carried out by the Ivorian army. FRANCE 24's French Politics Editor Marc Perelman reports from Paris.
