India trains workforce for Covid-19 vaccine rollout

Description

Young trainees learn how to vaccinate at a Covid-19 vaccination training program in India, ahead of vaccine approvals and rollouts in the country. The national government has yet to approve any vaccines but hopes to start immunisations early next year. The country of 1.3 billion people is the world's second-worst hit by the pandemic after the United States, and has already recorded more than 10 million infections and 140,000 deaths.
