Today, just a few weeks before its 73rd anniversary, the Scorpion stings once again with the introduction of its new 595 range, which pays homage to the inventiveness of its founder Carlo Abarth (1908 - 1979). Always part of Abarth’s DNA, it was the concept of upgrading which guided the work of the designers, engineers and technicians in to redesign the 2022’s range of timeless icons.Now available in two models and power levels, the Abarth 595 with 165 hp and Abarth 695 with 180 hp have special features to provide emotions to both customers who are more concerned with style and those for whom performance is a must. Both versions offer thrilling performance, a roaring exhaust, an irreverent and playful, yet bold, style and, of course, the joy of driving.Starting from these “basics”, the customers can build the car best fit for their tastes and needs, thanks to the four packs made with the most authentic Abarth traditions in mind. One instantly recalls Scorpion’s legendary tuning kits, which turned standard vehicles into unbeatable race cars in the Sixties. While preserving the brand’s dual soul with regard to its respective target customers, today a customized driving can still be achieved with one of four conversion packs.The Abarth 595 can be equipped with the “595 Turismo Pack”, more focused on style, and the “F595 Pack”, which emphasizes performance.Similarly, the already exclusive Abarth 695 can be further customized with the refined “695 Turismo Pack” or with the “695 Competizione Pack”.
The brand with the Scorpion badge is introducing the new Abarth 595 range, which embodies the evolution of their most iconic model. Advanced engineering and care for details in a model capable of boldly expressing the two personalities of the brand - performance and style. The four versions of the new 595 range are compact, light, agile and importantly all unparalleled in terms of customisation. The 595 is a successful range that today presents new strengths sure to capture the trademark nuances of the Abarth character.Hatchback or convertible, the new 595 range features five versions (595, 595 Pista, 595 Turismo, 595 Competizione and 695 Rivale) with power levels from 145 to 180 HP, all Euro 6D-TEMP compliant, to satisfy all customer needs.From the technical and performance point of view, peculiarly on the 595 Competizione and the 595 Pista, the main new feature is the new Record Monza Attivo exhaust, now standard on both versions and today equipped with an active valve controlled by a Sport button. Pressing the Sport button opens the exhaust valve and the engine rumble becomes deeper and bolder. The driver can choose a gentleman driver engine sound or a tougher, sportier - and more traditionally Abarth - roar.While the 595 Competizione is somewhat more radical and designed for performance and no-compromise sports car fans, the 595 Turismo hints to the style and comfort typical of Italian GTs. There is plenty of focus on details, with premium leather interiors and Urban Pack that comes with light sensor, rain sensor and parking sensors.
To celebrate this special birthday and as a tribute to its history, the Scorpion is launching the new Abarth 695 75° Anniversario edition, available in only 1,368 units to pay homage to its well-known 1.4 T-Jet engine, with a symbolic reference to the engine’s capacity: 1.368cc. The engine is supercharged with a Garrett GT 1446 turbocharger, delivering 180 HP of power and a torque of 250 Nm at 3,000 rpm. The maximum speed is 225 km/h, and it accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 6.7 seconds. The exhaust features the iconic Record Monza with an active valve. It is also equipped with Koni FSD shock absorbers on both axles.The special series also features a unique and eye-catching livery which includes a special touch: a dedicated logo displayed both inside and outside to enhance the journeys of the brand’s enthusiasts.The exterior immediately catches the eye. For the first time ever, a scorpion covers the entire roof and pops out against the total black livery thanks to the contrast with its golden body. The model has been enhanced by various elements to make it even more unique, such as privacy glass, gold Abarth logos on both sides, and the original 75° Anniversario decals in the shape of a piston head. Moreover, this special series is equipped with exclusive 17-inch gold alloy wheels, and a high-performing braking system with 305x28mm ventilated and perforated disks clamped by the black Brembo aluminum calipers.

On the fortieth anniversary of its last race, the Scorpion brand is paying homage to it with the Abarth 695 Tributo 131 Rally special series. This limited edition will be available in just 695 units throughout the globe.The latest version of this top-of-the-range model is a tribute to Abarth’s racing history. In fact, competitions have always been part of its DNA and, thanks to the technological "transfer", the most innovative solutions - tested on the track to increase performance and reliability - are adopted on normal production cars, ensuring an adrenaline-filled driving experience.
