US President Joe Biden announces that a 'majority of Americans, who are fully vaccinated with the Pfizer vaccine,' are eligible for a booster shot. French President Emmanuel Macron addressed the nation Tuesday amid a fresh rise in the rate of Covid-19 infections in France. He announced that, from December 15, booster shots will be mandatory for those over-65s to benefit from France's health pass, which provides access to restaurants, cultural events and intercity rail travel.
