Russian forces are now largely in control of the key eastern Ukrainian city of Severodonetsk amid fierce fighting, Kyiv said Wednesday. FRANCE 24's Jonathan Walsh just got back from reporting in Ukraine, he speaks about the situation near Severodonetsk.
The city in the Donbas of key strategic importance was not surrounded and Ukrainian soldiers were fighting in the outskirts, local authorities reported on Saturday morning.
