Chapter 2 - The Porsche 989 - prototype and predecessor of the PanameraThe type 530 of 1952 was Porsche’s first attempt to bring a sports car for four people to the road. The basis was the Porsche 356. It would remain a prototype. Further concept cars would follow—until the development of the type 989 began in 1988.
