Hundreds of Ukrainians gather in Kyiv's Maidan Square for a ceremony in honour of prominent Ukrainian activist Roman Ratushny, who died during fighting with the Russian army in Izyum in the Kharkiv region. Roman Ratushny helped inspire the 2014 pro-EU Maidan revolution, being one of the first students to protest at the Maidan in the winter of 2013-14. IMAGES
Ahead of their first concert since the start of Russia's invasion, members of the Kyiv Symphony Orchestra voice hope that their music will heal troubled souls and boost Ukrainian culture. The men in the orchestra have been granted special dispensation from Ukrainian authorities to leave the country as martial law is in place in Ukraine.
