  • Nokia Rolls Out 5 Smartphones at Mobile World Congress

    Finnish company Nokia unveiled a whopping five new smartphones at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona on Sunday, incuding a new version of the famously sturdy 3110 in the form of a banana-yellow slider Nokia 8110 which will cost only $97. In addition, the company presented a budget smartphone with dozens of removable panels called Nokia 1, which would be available for $85. The Finnish phonemaker also unveiled the Nokia 8 Sirocco, which will go on sale in April for $921.

  • This is the ZeTime - a Traditional Swiss Watch with a Digital Touchscreen

    Swiss watchmaker MyKronoz showed off its new hybrid smartwatch ZeTime, which combines Swiss watchmaking traditions with a digital touchscreen, at the Mobile World Congress 2017 in Barcelona on Tuesday. The manufacturers claim that ZeTime boasts a 200 millamp hour battery capacity, meaning it can continue to function for 30 days on a single charge. The TFT display is 1.18 inches in diameter with a screen resolution of 240 x 240 pixels. It is equipped with Bluetooth, which allows the watch owner to manage calls and receive notifications. For wellness lovers, ZeTime offers a sleep and activity tracker, which calculates movements and activity time. The smartwatch is expected to hit stores in September of this year and will cost about $211.

The phone was the world’s most popular device in the year 2000. The 2017 model has 22 hours talk-time, which is up to 10 times longer than the original model and up to one month of standby. The retro-styled electronic is priced at €49, or about $52.
