The UN's atomic agency chief Rafael Grossi warns of "increasing" military activity around the Zaporizhzhia nuclear plant during a rare visit to the plant currently controlled by Russian forces. Kyiv and Moscow have accused each other of shelling the plant, increasing fears of a disaster. SOUNDBITE
European Council President Charles Michel warns that the coming weeks could decide the course of Russia's invasion of Ukraine. He makes the statement following a meeting between European leaders and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. "The next few weeks and months will probably be decisive. The Red Cross demands a halt to all military operations around a Russian-held nuclear power plant in southern Ukraine, warning the consequences of a strike could be "catastrophic". "It is high time to stop playing with fire and instead take concrete measures to protect this facility and others like it from any military operations," Robert Mardini, director general of the ICRC, tells reporters in Kyiv.
