A decision to overrule a landmark 1973 case enshrining abortion as a constitutional right could lead to abortion bans in roughly half of US states.

"Hands off women's reproductive healthcare," says the US House of Representatives Nancy Pelosi in remarks alongside House Democrats on the steps of the US Capitol. Pelosi also warns of the Republicans' "dangerous and extreme agenda" that could see "an all-out assault" on more rights.
