Russia's invasion of Ukraine entered its 100th day on Friday with no end in sight to the fighting that has killed thousands, uprooted millions and reduced cities to rubble. FRANCE 24's Gulliver Cragg reports from Kyiv, Ukraine.
In his nightly address, on the 100th day of Russia's invasion of Ukraine, President Volodymyr Zelensky pours scorn on the Russian army saying what remains of it is 'war crimes, shame and hatred.' Since Russian President Vladimir Putin ordered troops into Ukraine, thousands of people have been killed, millions sent fleeing and towns turned into rubble.
Britain's defence ministry said that on the 100th day of Russia's invasion of Ukraine that Moscow failed to achieve its initial objectives to seize Kyiv and Ukrainian centres of government but was achieving tactical success in the Donbas. FRANCE 24's Gulliver Cragg reports.
