Ukraine's capture of a city within territory of Russian President Vladimir Putin's declared annexation demonstrates that Ukrainians are making progress and able to push back against Russian forces, NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg said on Sunday.
During a joint press conference in Berlin with German Defence Minister Boris Pistorius, NATO's Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg says there is "no indication that President Putin has changed his goals, he wants to control Ukraine," and adds that he's confident a solution on battle tanks for Ukraine will "soon" be reached.
Former NATO director of policy planning told Euronews Fabrice Pothier thinks Germany will be making a mistake if it does not authorise Leopard 2 tanks to be provided to Ukraine
France's Minister of Defence Sebastien Lecornu said Ukraine has his government's full support and promised a €200 million fund and military equipment in a visit to the war-torn country.
In an exclusive interview with AFP, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg says that Russia is "planning for a long war" in Ukraine, and urges Kyiv's NATO backers to keep supporting Ukraine's military until President Vladimir Putin realises he "cannot win on the battlefield".
