Lamborghini’s dedication to design, innovative technology and high performance is well established. But the Italian super sports car manufacturer is constantly exploring the boundaries in another fascinating area: colour. The company recently unveiled the “Opera Unica” Huracán Sterrato, a one-off finished in a unique triple-layer crystal-effect paint specially developed by the ground-breaking Ad Personam department. The only limit here is arguably the one imposed by the client’s imagination. But how much do we really know about colour itself? For an exclusive new film, Beyond Colour – No Colour Is More Mysterious than Blue, Lamborghini invited world-renowned art historian James Fox to the Italian island of Sardinia, whose famously blue skies and crystal clear waters inspired the paint treatment showcased on the new car. And his insights into humankind’s relationship with colour are extraordinary.
Based on the super sports prowess of the V10 Huracán, the Sterrato draws on Lamborghini’s off-road expertise exemplified in the Urus Super SUV, creating a new dimension of Lamborghini ‘fun to drive off-road’: a transfer of technologies creating a super sports car for challenging environments. The Sterrato concept is based on the Huracán EVO with the same 5.2 liter naturally-aspirated engine producing 640 hp. The Huracán EVO’s LDVI (Lamborghini Dinamica Veicolo Integrata) with predictive logic, controls the Sterrato’s systems including four-wheel drive, four-wheel steering, modified suspension and torque vectoring, anticipating the next moves of the driver to ensure perfect driving dynamics. Calibrated for off-road driving including low-adherence surfaces, and tuned to maximize traction and acceleration, the LDVI system in the Sterrato provides enhanced rear-wheel drive behavior, producing more torque together with additional stabilization in oversteering maneuvers.
Automobili Lamborghini is about to present the new Huracán Sterrato: the first super sports car designed for maximum driving pleasure even away from the asphalt on loose or dirt surfaces, reinterpreting the very concept of sportiness and emphasizing the brand principles of brave, authentic and unexpected.

On the eve of the international dynamic debut at the Autodromo Piero Taruffi in Vallelunga, Lamborghini factory driver Andrea Caldarelli tested the new Revuelto, the first super sports V12 hybrid plug-in HPEV (High Performance Electrified Vehicle) on the Roman circuit.Unveiled in the brand’s 60th anniversary year, Revuelto defines a new paradigm in terms of performance, sportiness, and driving pleasure from its unprecedented new architecture, innovative design, maximum-efficiency aerodynamics, a new carbon chassis concept, and a 1015 CV powertrain that combines the new V12 engine with three electric motors. With Lamborghini, Caldarelli has won some of the most prestigious titles in the endurance category, including the triple crown of the GT World Challenge Europe in 2019 and the 24 Hours of Daytona in the GTD category. Caldarelli will also be part of the crew that will contend the 2024 season of the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship at the wheel of the new Lamborghini SC63.
The Lamborghini Revuelto, the company’s all-new hybrid V12 super sports car, has already captured the popular imagination with its combination of design, innovative technology and high performance. Now Automobili Lamborghini celebrates the arrival of the new car by involving one of the world’s greatest photographers, Anton Corbijn.
In the marque’s 60th anniversary year, Automobili Lamborghini presents Revuelto, the first super sports V12 hybrid plug-in HPEV (High Performance Electrified Vehicle). Revuelto defines a new paradigm in terms of performance, sportiness and driving pleasure from its unprecedented new architecture; innovative design; maximum-efficiency aerodynamics; and a new carbon frame concept. An output of 1015 CV is delivered from the combined power of an entirely new combustion engine together with three electric motors, alongside a double-clutch gearbox that makes its debut on a 12-cylinder Lamborghini for the first time. The powertrain combines high specific power elements: the new 127 CV/liter combustion engine works synergically with two front axial flux motors that deliver an outstanding weight-to-power ratio, with a radial flux electric motor positioned above the first eight-speed double-clutch gearbox debuting on a 12-cylinder Lamborghini. The three electric motors are powered by a lithium-ion high specific power (4500 W/kg) battery pack that also supports a fully-electric drive mode.
It's been a busy winter for Automobili Lamborghini, which has been clocking up kilometers on roads all over Europe. Amidst breathtaking scenery and evocative locations, the super sports cars from Sant'Agata Bolognese took on Europe's most beautiful routes through sun, rain, snow and ice, always guaranteeing the highest levels of performance and driving enjoyment. In January a convoy of Urus Performante, Urus S, Huracán STO and Huracán Tecnica paraded along the snowy roads between Denmark and Sweden, delighting onlookers in the fairy-tale setting. The activity wasn’t just focused on the roar of Lamborghini engines however: as often happens during Lamborghini events, driving is combined with unique experiences that remain etched in the memory of those who experience them. The event in Scandinavia made a stop in the evocative Tower of 'The Plant', a converted factory in which containers were built for years and then transformed into a paper mill. While able to take a look at the Huracán Sterrato, guests were intrigued by chef Mattia Risaliti explaining the similarities between culinary art and various aspects in which absolute excellence is expressed in all its forms, a synthesis of Lamborghini's brand philosophy.
