Johnson's ex-top adviser lambasts UK government over Covid-19 failures

Description

UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s former chief aide, Dominic Cummings, lashed out at the government he once served, saying people died “in horrific circumstances” because of authorities' failed response to the coronavirus pandemic. He told a parliamentary committee that health minister Matt Hancock failed to honour a promise that people would be tested before they were sent into care homes to free up hospital beds to prevent wards being overwhelmed. France 24 correspondent in London, Benedicte Paviot, tells us more.
