With G7 to make mass Covid-19 vaccine pledge, pressure grows to suspend patents

Description

As G7 states prepare to pledge the distribution of 1 billion Covid-19 shots worldwide, the US and France are going further and calling for the suspension of intellectual property rights on vaccines. Also, investors shrug off signs of inflation, while Chinese ride-hailing giant Didi Chuxing says it's ready to go public on Wall Street, paving the way for what could be one of the biggest IPOs of the year.
