The UK has accused Beijing-linked organisations of orchestrating two "malicious" cyber campaigns against democratic institutions and parliamentarians. British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak says the UK and Rwanda are eyeing a new deal on asylum seekers, after Britain's highest court ruled that removing migrants to the African country was unlawful. "If it becomes clear that our domestic legal frameworks or international conventions are still frustrating plans at that point, I am prepared to change our laws and revisit those international relationships," he tells lawmakers during the weekly prime minister's questions in parliament. UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak demands that unionists end their boycott of the devolved government in Northern Ireland, in a speech marking 25 years of peace in the divided territory. "I urge you to work with us to get Stormont up and running again. That's the right thing to do in its own terms. Sir Graham Brady, chairman of the Conservative Party's backbench 1922 Committee, announces that Rishi Sunak and Liza Truss have made it to the final ballot of Conservative members to decide who will replace Boris Johnson as the next party leader and Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, with Penny Mordaunt knocked out.
