Kathmandu, Aug 23 (EFE/EPA).- Nepalese Hindus celebrated Monday the Gai Jatra Cow Festival to ask for salvation and peace for their family members who have passed away in the past year. Children participating in the festival procession often dress as cows, holy animals according to Hindu belief, who help departed souls to reach heaven.
