Jakarta extends public mobility restrictions for one more week to curb pandemic

Jakarta, Aug 31 (EFE/EPA).- Indonesian government extended the emergency state of public mobility in Jakarta for another week until Sep. 6 to curb the spread of COVID-19.The extension comes, however, with a certain number of relaxations for community activities such as conducting trials or reopening of public areas.Indonesia has recorded a total of 4 million COVID-19 cases and 130,000 deaths since the beginning of pandemic.
