Thailand imposes stricter Covid-19 restrictions, night curfew in Bangkok, 9 provinces

Bangkok, Jul 9 (EFE/EPA).- Thailand announced Friday a night curfew in Bangkok and nine other provinces among other measures at its worst moment of the pandemic, which has also worsened in the rest of the region due to the Covid-19 delta variant.The spokeswoman for the Covid-19 control center, Apisamai Srirangsan, said in a press conference that the curfew will be between 9:00 p.m. and 4:00 a.m. and that restrictions will take effect Monday for the next 14 days.
