The developers say it will encourage employees to clock off early by blasting Auld Lang Syne – a song commonly used in Japan to indicate the closing time. But at a cost of ¥50,000 ($443) per month for service, some might hope for a choice in music or maybe even noise reduction headphones to dull the constant drone in the office.

Hundreds of thousands of pilgrims cheer Pope Francis as the pontiff arrives at a Lisbon park for an homage to the crucifixion of Jesus Christ at a global jamboree.
