French constitutional court backs Macron's Covid pass: 'There is real anger here'

France's top constitutional authority on Thursday approved a Covid pass that limits access to cafes, restaurants and inter-city trains and planes to people who have been vaccinated or tested negative for the virus. France 24's Catherine Norris-Trent tells us more.

  • Macron Tests Positive For COVID

    French President Emmanuel Macron has tested positive for the coronavirus. The presidential Elysée Palace made the announcement on Thursday. In a statement, the palace said that Macron, 42, took a test "as soon as the first symptoms appeared." Business Insider reports that Macron will now isolate for seven days. "He will continue to work and take care of his activities at a distance," the statement said."
