Srebrenica, Jul 11 (EFE/EPA).- With messages of pain and calls for reconciliation, Bosnia-Herzegovina held commemorations Saturday for the 25th anniversary of the Srebrenica genocide.The solemn ceremony was joined by a number of world leaders who sent in video messages to mark the event.An estimated 8,000 Muslim men and boys were killed by Bosnian Serb troops who advanced into Srebrenica, which at the time was a designated United Nations safe zone, on 11 July 1995. Crosses are placed outside Brazil's National Congress in Brasilia in a tribute to the victims of the Brumadinho dam collapse on the fifth anniversary of the tragedy. January 25 marks five years of the rupture of the dam at the Corrego do Feijao Mine, owned by the mining company Vale.
