French general Gudin de la Sablonniere remains repatriated from Moscow

Moscow, Jul 12 (EFE / EPA) .- (Camera: Sergei Ilnitsky) The remains of French general Charles-Etienne Gudin de la Sablonniere, who participated in the French revolutionary wars and the Napoleonic wars, were repatriated from Moscow to France on Tuesday. The ceremony took place at the Moscow airport. Gudin was one of Napoleon Bonaparte's favourite military commanders and died in the Battle of Smolensk during the Russian campaign in 1812.FOOTAGE OF THE REPATRIATION CEREMONY.
