Mumbai, Sep 11 (EFE/EPA).- India celebrated Saturday the Ganesha Chaturthi festival, one of the biggest Hindu festivals which is celebrated as the birthday of Lord Ganesha. The festival is a ten-day long event which is celebrated all over India. The idols of the Hindu deity are worshipped at hundreds of pandals or makeshift tents as well as at home before they are immersed into water bodies.
