Thousands have demonstrated over COVID passes being made mandatory for employees to enter their workplaces.
Italy is to make a Covid-19 "Green Pass" mandatory for public and private sector workers, a minister said on Wednesday, becoming the first European country to do so as it tries to accelerate vaccination rates and stamp out infections. FRANCE 24's Seema Gupta tells us more.
The prices of the health certificates ranged from €100 to €500, with discounts offered for those purchasing multiple certificates, such as the "family package".
Only people who are vaccinated against COVID-19 or recently recovered from the virus are able to access cinemas, theatres, and other events.
